Over the last 100 years there has been a few widley known wars, the vietnam war, world war 2, world war 1 and the wars in afghanistan. But the Iran-Iraq is a conflict that was massive in scale but gets very little coverage other than just a mention of how it was a middle eastern world war 1. And although it is that, its a lot more complicated diplomatically and militarily, this is the history of the most overlooked war since ww2 through the eyes Iraq's leader Saddam Hussein.
